Warner Valley is the single most-ridden dirt bike destination in the Hurricane, Utah area and the first stop for nearly every rider who rents from us. Located 10 minutes south of downtown Hurricane on BLM land, Warner Valley offers more than 20,000 acres of designated off-road terrain, stitched together with over 39 miles of marked single track, connector routes, and dry washes. The area is famous for its dramatic cliff-edge views, approachable beginner warm-up loops, and a network of trails that riders can combine into multi-hour or all-day loops. Rideable year-round, Warner Valley is best from October through May when daytime temperatures stay comfortable. First-time renters usually spend their full first day here — most come back for day two.
From downtown Hurricane, take State Route 9 west for two minutes, then turn south on 700 West. Follow the road past Sand Hollow Resort and continue onto Warner Valley Road — pavement ends and the trailhead network begins. Total drive time is about 10 minutes. We can deliver your rental bike directly to the Warner Valley trailhead for $49 if you prefer to meet us at the start of the ride.
Warner Valley is not one trail but a web of connected single track, dry sandy washes, and slickrock sections spread across the valley floor and climbing up onto the surrounding plateaus. The main Warner Valley Trail runs roughly 39 miles end-to-end, but most riders sample shorter loops depending on skill level and time. The area connects north toward Hurricane Cliffs and south toward the edge of Sand Hollow State Park, giving advanced riders the option to piece together 40+ mile loops with big elevation changes.
Intermediate 6/10 single track with cliff-edge views overlooking the Virgin River valley — one of the most photographed dirt bike lines in Utah. Moderately technical with a few exposed sections.
Beginner 3/10 loop designed as a low-pressure first ride. Shorter, gentler terrain that lets new riders get comfortable with the bike before tackling the main Edge loop.
Scenic intermediate 5/10 single track along the eastern rim of Warner Valley with sweeping desert views and moderate technical sections.
Intermediate 6/10 technical single track through the highlands with a mix of rocky sections and fast flowing terrain. A favorite for riders building confidence.
All-day advanced loop that strings together multiple Warner Valley trails. Bring extra fuel, water, and a snack — it is a full day in the saddle.
Warner Valley works for almost every skill level. Complete beginners should start with the Warm Up loop before attempting Edge of the World. Intermediate riders can do the main Edge of the World and East Rim Little Red in the same day. Advanced riders typically chain multiple trails into the 40 Mile Loop. GPX files for every trail come free with your rental.
Warner Valley is the perfect match for the Husqvarna FE350s — smooth, light, and forgiving power delivery for long days on single track. If you are an advanced rider looking for more horsepower on the climbs, step up to the FE450.
The full Warner Valley Trail runs about 39 miles end-to-end, but the area contains dozens of interconnected loops ranging from 3-mile beginner warm-ups to 40+ mile all-day routes. Most renters ride 20 to 50 miles in a day.
No separate permit is required — Warner Valley is BLM land and free to ride. Utah does require OHV registration for non-street-plated bikes, but our Husqvarna rentals come street-plated with current Utah registration included.
Yes. The Warm Up for Edge of the World loop was built specifically for new riders. Start there on the morning of your first rental day, then progress to intermediate single track like East Rim Little Red as you gain confidence.
