From St. George, most riders are on the trails within 30 minutes of pickup. Warner Valley — open desert dotted with dinosaur tracks — is the closest riding area and a favorite for intermediate riders. For more technical terrain, the Hurricane Cliffs and Gould's Rim offer rocky single-track and big views over the Virgin River, while new riders often start on the beginner-friendly warm-up loop before stepping up. One honest note: Sand Hollow State Park is famous, but it's a dunes-and-OHV park — our street-legal enduro dirt bikes aren't permitted on the dunes there. For everything a dirt bike does best — trails, single-track, and backcountry — Hurricane is the place, and it's right next door to St. George.
Dirt Bikes vs. ATVs & UTVs
Looking for an ATV or UTV rental in St. George? We specialize in dirt bikes — premium Husqvarna enduros — not four-wheelers or side-by-sides. On Southern Utah's tight single-track and technical climbs, a dirt bike goes places a UTV simply can't, and it's the most engaging way to ride this terrain. If your group needs an ATV or side-by-side for the Sand Hollow dunes, we're happy to point you to a local OHV outfitter.
