Damage & Fee Policy

Understand your protection options and our fee schedule before you ride

Overview

The renter is responsible for all damage to the motorcycle during the rental period.
A $500 refundable security deposit per bike is always charged. Optional damage insurance ($65/day) provides additional coverage up to $1,500.
Normal wear and tear from off-road riding is expected and covered.

Damage Insurance — $65/bike/day

Non-refundable fee added to your rental total at checkout.
Covers up to $1,500 in accidental damages during normal riding.
Available as an add-on at checkout. Works alongside the security deposit.

Insurance does NOT cover: intentional misuse, riding under the influence, or unauthorized riders operating the motorcycle.

Security Deposit — $500/bike

Always charged at booking — $500 per bike — and fully refundable on clean return.
Returned after the bike is inspected upon return with no damage found.
Major damage may result in repair costs beyond the deposit amount.

Deposit Refund on Cancellation

Your $500 security deposit is always 100% refunded when you cancel, regardless of when you cancel. The deposit is only held to cover potential damage during your rental — it is never forfeited due to cancellation timing.

Damage Assessment Process

Every bike is inspected upon return.
Photos are taken of any damage found.
Normal wear and tear from off-road riding is expected and covered.
If damage is found, charges are processed and you are notified with photo evidence.

What's NOT Covered

Intentional damage or misuse
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Unauthorized riders operating the motorcycle
Riding in prohibited areas (e.g., Sand Hollow State Park — no dune flags provided)
Modifications to the motorcycle
