Already in Kanab for The Wave or Grand Staircase? A 1.5-hour drive adds a Husqvarna enduro day across 150+ miles of the same red-rock country.
Kanab visitors come for permit hikes through The Wave, Buckskin Gulch, and Grand Staircase, and a lot of them don't realize the same red-rock landscape is ridable on two wheels an hour and a half away. From Kanab, it's west on UT-59 through Hildale, then south on UT-9 into Hurricane. Book ahead and your Husqvarna FE350 or FE450 will be waiting at our Hurricane shop — fueled, geared up, with a trail map and tool kit ready to go the moment you roll in. It's an easy way to break up a hiking-heavy itinerary — trade a rest day for 150+ miles of single-track running through the same desert terrain you came to Kanab to see in the first place.

Nearby riding: The Coral Pink Sand Dunes area (between Kanab and Hurricane) offers additional OHV riding opportunities.
The drive from Kanab lands you close to the trailhead, and most riders are geared up within 15 minutes of reaching Hurricane. Warner Valley is the easiest first stop, with open wash riding and a warm-up loop suited to a group adding a bike day between hikes. From there, the Hurricane Cliffs offer steeper, rockier terrain for anyone wanting more of a push, and Toquerville is the pick for riders with a full day to spend. Worth flagging before you plan the trip: Sand Hollow State Park sits along the way and draws plenty of search traffic for its dunes, but it's built for OHV traffic running whip flags, terrain our enduros aren't permitted to enter. That single-track — 150+ miles of it — runs through the same red-rock country Kanab is known for, just experienced from the saddle instead of the trailhead.
Dirt Bikes vs. ATVs & UTVs
Occasionally a Kanab visitor asks about a four-wheeler instead of a dirt bike — that's outside our fleet. What our Husqvarnas do that a UTV can't is get into narrow, technical single-track at real speed, which pairs naturally with a Wave or Grand Staircase trip. If dune riding is specifically the plan, a local OHV outfitter along the route carries the flagged machines that kind of ride needs.
